Devourer - Rehearsal (August 27th 2022)

Devourer’s first rehearsal in the band’s history was on August 27th 2022, 20 years after I started the band in 2002. The reason it took that long is that Devourer was only a recording band for a long time, it was just Fredrik Håf and me, John Falk, making music together. We’ve talked about doing live shows now and then the last couple of years, but it wasn’t until Oksana and Johan joined us in 2019 that things really started to happen. Oksana asked me if we can rehearse with Devourer and I said ’yes we can, we just need a drummer, and I have to figure out how I played the songs on the albums’. Tommy Holmér, the drummer in my other band Sorcery and a bunch of other bands too, agreed to do this rehearsal with us, and I made videos of how to play the songs when I wrote them so we managed to make it happen.
