Hanover, Germany WEST GERMANY BEAT ENGLAND 1-0 VS in the Nether Saxony Stadium in Hanover of the uninspired football match between West Germany and England. The only score of a dull game came five minutes from the end when Franz Beckenbauer scrambled a goal for Germany to give them victory.
