Mt. Kenashi, Shizuoka/ Yamanashi Prefecture.

On 26th February 2022, I climbed Mt. Kenashi. I started at the Kenashiyama parking lot, and proceeded to climb Mt. Kenashi. Mt. Kenashi is 1,964 meters at its highest point along the Shizuoka and Yamanashi border. It is the highest peak in the Tenshi mountains. The route which I climbed took me to Mt. Kenashi, Mt. Amagatake, Takadeki and Hashita toge, before I turned back along the Tokai Nature Trail towards my car. In total I hiked for about 9 hours, and 17 Kilometers, hiking up over 1,500 meters, through snow and experiencing some fantastic views of Mt. Fuji in the distance.
