Highlights from the Venice Biennale 2024 Preview Opening

The Venice Biennale is the most prestigious and exciting arts festival in the world and this year has an amazing breadth of artists and national participation. Here are my highlights from day 1 of the preview taking in artworks from the Giardini, Canadian and US pavillions, as well as the opening reception for the Nigerian pavilion. The Biennale is packed with works by the most exciting contemporary artists and Venice itself is splendid at this time of year - I hope you enjoy!
