CS:GO Sound Update: HRTF VS Normal

Here’s a little preview of what difference the new surround sound in CS:GO sounds like. Got a larger, more comprehensive video coming but I don’t want to wake housemates just yet :( It should be enabled by default, but if not then go to the sound options and choose ’HRTF Headphones’. It’s better. Honest! You don’t need special headphones to hear the difference: it’s a software update. Any speaker system will be able to play it. If you can hear the difference in this video, you will in-game as well. Some headphones have a larger ’soundstage’ that make make the effect even more obvious.
