Super Formula Lights is the final step that drivers face on the Super Formula ladder before heading into the top-level series. With a history of taking its basis from global Formula 3 regulations, for 2024, the series will feature Dallara’s latest addition to one of the most impressive portfolios of open-wheel cars in racing history. Known as the Dallara 324, the current Super Formula Lights car is a successor to the 320 model that the series featured over the previous four years. Aside from chassis and aerodynamic upgrades, the new car sees a big departure from years past as it moves to the first spec engine in series history. It features a turbocharged, three-cylinder, Toyota TGE33 engine developed by TOM’S, capable of producing roughly 275 horsepower.
