Ano: 2002 Sinopse: Um detetive da polícia, Jack Friar (Samuel L. Jackson), está de férias e aproveita para tocar peças clássicas no seu violoncelo. Friar pensa em viajar, mas uma vizinha, Amy (Shannon Lawson), lhe pede que ache a filha dela de 15 anos, que saiu de casa para morar com o namorado. Inicialmente Jack reluta em tentar encontrar a jovem e alega que pertence a outro departamento e que está de férias mas, vendo a aflição da mãe, concorda em fazer este favor.  Police detective Jack Friar (Samuel L. Jackson) is on vacation and takes the opportunity to play classical pieces on his cello. Friar thinks about traveling, but a neighbor, Amy (Shannon Lawson), asks him to find her 15-year-old daughter, who has left home to live with her boyfriend.
