“Song For Ronnie James“ is a long epic track written by Jorn Lande, and is a tribute to the man and legend Ronnie James Dio. It was the opening track of the tribute album released in 2010, which included Dio classics such as “Stand Up And Shout“, “Push“, “Shame On The Night“, “Don’t Talk To Strangers“ among others. Ronnie James Dio was one of Jorn’s main influences when growing up in the 70’s and 80’s, and his presence still colors some of Jorn’s works today.
