Food as Medicine

As more medical professionals continue to advocate for nutritional changes to assist in treating diabetes, hypertension, and even cancer, we need to explore ways to bring the idea of food as medicine to the forefront of disease treatment. This will require a number of cultural leaders using their platforms to encourage a change in how we look at food. This panel will feature a cross-section of cultural and policy leaders who will share what food as medicine means to them and what they are doing around the world to advance food as a tool for solving health problems instead of creating them. Moderator Ryan Shadrick Wilson Senior Advisor, Center for Public Health, Milken Institute
