South Korea. Typhoon Khanun with a wind speed of 200 km per hour

South Korea. Hundreds of flights and high-speed trains were canceled and businesses closed in the South Korean port city of Busan after Typhoon Khanun made landfall on Thursday, bringing heavy rain and strong winds. The storm hit Japan before taking a detour to the Korean Peninsula, making landfall around 9:20 AM local time (0020 GMT) in the south and should move north, causing heavy rain across the country. More than 10,000 people have been evacuated, with Prime Minister Han Dak Soo urging local governments to “check if residents of high-risk areas have evacuated“ and, if so, make sure they have. Typhoon warnings have been issued across the country, with showers of up to 50 centimeters in the northeast coastal areas and 10 to 20 centimeters in Seoul and surrounding areas forecast until early Friday. Wind gusts of 145 km/h were recorded in Busan. #southkorea #typhoon #rain #khanun #flood #seoul #wind #earthquake #Busan #disasters #storm #news #landslide #tropical The channe
