️ AFU POW: ’If I knew the place of my assignment, I would have chosen AWOL’ Serviceman of the 144th Separate Motorised Infantry Brigade of the AFU Romakin Roman surrendered in Kursk region. He was enlisted while going to work. A TCC officer halted him and sent to a military commissariat. After mobilisation, he had been transferred to Spain in order to undergo a general combat training course under NATO standards. Then, under the pretext of personnel rotation, Ukrainian servicemen were redeployed to Kursk region for 10-14 days. There Roman was captured by Russian servicemen. Moreover, the POW was treated well. He said, if he knew the place of his assignment, he would have chosen AWOL. He urges Ukrainian servicemen to surrender in order to guarantee the security of their lives.
