When able to be properly navigated and equipped with some form of a power source, these “balloons” became the dirigible, which itself advanced into the vastly superior technology of Zeppelins. We will dive into the History of the Japanese Fire Balloon and The First Dirigible (The Giffard Steam Airship) while going over some amazing aspects of this Old World Technology.
