Wheel Barrow Racing (1931)

No title. C/U of man pumping up the tyre at the front of a wheelbarrow. C/U of front of two wheelbarrows - each has a young boy sitting in them. L/S of the wheelbarrows being pushed along grass by two men - racing. “Across the fields they were racing neck and neck, but as the race proceeded, Buttercup Joe drew ahead... (helped by that airy tyre.) We see the barrows careering around the fields and close to farm buildings. The wheelbarrows are pushed through a small stream. Good shot of the barrows being pushed along the road - shot from a moving vehicle in front of them. Good M/Ss of the barrows being pushed down a country street. Crowds watch as the barrows reach their destination. The competitors are given prizes in a presentation ceremony. C/U of the two “drivers“ holding metal tankards. They take a drink.
