South Bend Heavy 10 Lathe Restoration

This is a slideshow that shows my restoration of a 1942 South Bend heavy 10 lathe. I bought this machine for $450 and have put plenty more into it. It has upgrades that include: large dials, NOS spindle gear, NOS reverse lever, NOS clutch-knob, a new Bison 3-jaw chuck, NOS tailstock quill and an Aloris tool post.
