Liebherr - Connection Asia and Europe: Canakkale Bridge

The longest suspension Bridge in the world is connecting Asia and Europe: the Canakkale Bridge in Turkey. With a total lenght of m, m from pilon to pilon and a height of 318 m it’s a construction of superlatives. Extreme weather conditions, regional forces and maritime traffic were further challenges. Liebherr Tower Cranes has developped an optimal solution with two 357 HC-L Cranes, which were positioned on top of the pilons.
