A title appears over it which says ’Pathe News presents the inauguration of President Coolidge.’ A drawing of a map of America is on screen with a voting box at the bottom, animated votes cascade into it, ’15,748,356 votes’ appears on the screen. This fades to a drawing of Uncle Sam pointing to Calvin Coolidge and to a chair which says ’Presidency of the United States.’ Next we see a drawing of a ship in rough seas with a man steering it through the water. On it is written ’Problems of Nation’ and underneath it says ’Next four years’, then lists ’Reduction of taxes, prosperity, tariff, disarmament, economy.’ It fades to a picture of Calvin Coolidge.
