Eric Heiden 1979: Better than 1980??

With 40,000 fans at Bislett, Speedskating at its best. A viewer pointed out something we overlooked: Eric’s right skate slides backward on his first step. This is obviously a mistake. Sorry for overlooking this. Thanks to Ellen Snoej for so many great videos - dozens I’ve used. Here’s a link:
