Unused / unissued material - location and dates unclear or unknown. Desert Location. VS of allied troops being marched carrying picks and shovels. The troops all appear to be from Colonial forces - not clear where from. VS The troops breaking up the surface and scrub of the desert for the proposed air strip. (Features nice CU of soldier drinking from water bottle. VS of a half-track tractor towing a flattening board which levels the newly broken up surface. VS of British troops relaxing by showing North African locals how to throw and play darts with the aid of a dart board nailed to a palm tree. (Neg.)
