Tootsie, the Most Adorable Saw-whet Owl!

Tomorrow is Super Bowl Sunday, and we wanted to share a Superb Owl! Tootsie, a Northern Saw-whet Owl and Raptor-in-Residence here at the Alaska Raptor Center, is one of our cutest residents! Northern Saw-whet Owls are small, nocturnal, and can be difficult to spot. During the day, they roost in dense vegetation, typically just above eye level and near the trunk in evergreen trees.
