28. Friends Will Be Friends (Queen-Live In Leiden: 6/12/1986)

You guys ever heard the term “Jumping to conclusions?“ Well, I think I may have done that: I have listened to this whole gig, and I took notes on every song. I have come to the conclusion that this second Leiden concert is as epic as the first one! In fact, a handful of the songs on THIS gig, sound BETTER then the FIRST Leiden (and I’ve always promoted that gig as the best Magic Tour gig)! Adding to the positives, Freddie doesn’t BLOW his voice out during the later songs--so the encores sound much better here! This gig is in decent, but distant quality (so it’s bit hard to hear some vocals and instruments), and it’s mostly complete (there’s a few songs with cuts in them). Freddie’s voice is in fantastic shape (like the first night), and the band are in top shape! ENJOY!!! Note: Freddie makes up some new lyrics during “Hello Mary Lou.“
