OperaFirst Gala

The highlight and grand finale of the Festival will be the open-air concert on the Cathedral Square of the Astrakhan Kremlin with the participation of stars of the world opera stage. The audience will be treated to a true celebration of music. On the stage will shine: the Soloist of the State Opera Berlin Anna Samuil, the French opera diva Elisabeth Vidal, and the People’s Artist of Russia, soloist of Covent Garden and Metropolitan Opera Sergey Leiferkus. This concert evening will be the debut performance of the Caspian symphony orchestra, which had been put together specially for OperaFirst 2021. A new music ensemble will be headed by the Russian conductor, people’s artist of Kabardino-Balkaria Mikhail Golikov. Caspian Fashion Week fashion show will emphasize the atmosphere of the concert evening.
