B-SIDE TV : SLOTHRUST performs Double Down and On my Mind

Slothrust is principal songwriter Leah Wellbaum — the band’s singer, guitar player, and unrepentant aesthete — accompanied by drummer Will Gorin and bassist Kyle Bann. On their fourth full-length album The Pact, Slothrust clearly demonstrates their deft shaping of contrasting sonic elements to forge a muscular sound that’s uniquely their own. Cultivating their brew of classically informed, soulful rock, Slothrust emerged from the fertile Brooklyn indie scene with their debut LP, Feels Your Pain, in 2012.
