Ronny Smith, a smooth jazz guitarist and veteran of the Baltimore jazz scene. Ronny considers his early influences to have been George Benson, Wes Montgomery and Joe Pass. One can hear touches of each of those greats in his CDs, “Long Time Comin“, “Just Grooving“, “Simply Stated“, “Got Groove“ and, “Laid Back“, along with Ronny’s own strong musical personality. he has recorded with some of the top session musicians of the Nashville and California scene, including John Hammond (Player A), Gary Lunn (Peter Cetera), Pat Coil (Michael McDonald), Craig Nelson (Ben Tankard), and Dan Needham (Euge Groove), Scott Martin (Quincy Jones) Andy Martin (Gordon Goodwin’s Big Phat band), Stan Martin (Quincy Jones). “Can’t Stop Now” is Ronny’s sixth release as a solo artist, and features the fantastic singles, “Slim Pickin“ and, “City Groove”.
