SPLASH: The Other Live-Action Mermaid Movie They Want to Reboot [Starring Channing Tatum?!]

SPLASH is a fantasy rom com from 1984 starring Tom Hanks and Darryl Hannah. The plot centers around a mermaid who falls in love with a human man. He does not know she is a mermaid. He just thinks she’s a hot weirdo. Splash is also on the list of (supposed) upcoming Hollywood reboots. But not just any reboot – a GENDER-SWAPPED reboot starring Channing Tatum as the mermaid.
