This is a kinetic sculpture of a Da Vinci styled human powered flying machine (also known as an ornithopter) built using LEGO parts. The wings feature a realistic flapping motion and the stand raises and lowers the model to give a realistic sense of flight. It can be operated manually using a crank, or with a LEGO motor.
