Madness in Florida! An incredible microburst storm hit Tampa, Ybor City!

Severe weather continues to affect the United States. On August 24, around 5:00 p.m., a strong microburst of the storm hit Tampa, Florida. The speed of this microburst was about 60 miles per hour. Local residents who fled their homes were forced to take refuge in nearby places. Heavy rain and wind that left more than 1,500 people without power in the Ybor City area. Fortunately, there were no casualties. A microburst is a small short downdraft of wind that can often be confused with a tornado due to its high speed. Microbursts can cause wind speeds up to 168 miles per hour.
