1930 German Stabila Spirit Level - Restoration

Antique Stabila Level with Egona Garantie and Stabila marks , made of Indian teak wood ( tropical hard wood ) . I bought this level a year and a half ago with the intention of restoring it, but I later thought that it was not worth the restoration . I abandoned it in my workshop, and a month ago I discovered that the ones from the Stabila company are still working. I asked them some questions and decided to restore it. The level is made of hard wood and brass. Has some brass rings missing but I was able to recreate them on my lathe. I found a way to restore the old logos by engraving them with a laser and I changed almost all glass parts. I hope this restoration video will be on your taste !
