An apartment-house manager (Charles Ruggles) and his wife (Mary Boland) raise their children, but it’s not easy. Meanwhile they must also begin caring for an orphaned lad. They take a shine to the boy and desire to adopt him, but first they must convince his grandfather who is not impressed by their eccentricities.
