How To: Cooling System for a Tesla Swapped Squarebody - Electric C10 Ep. 13

We’ve got TWO radiators and TWO intercoolers from Mishimoto going into our twin Tesla swapped squarebody this week! A common misconception is that EV cars and trucks don’t need radiators since they don’t have combustion engines, but between the motors and the battery pack, this truck is going to be generating a ton of heat. That’s why we’re sticking a full-sized C10 radiator in the front of the truck, as well as another full sized radiator on the rear bars of our roll cage just to cool the battery! The Tesla long range battery isn’t the only thing generating heat in this truck though. We don’t want our two Model S motors burning up either, which is why we have our two Mishimoto intercoolers. It’s not enough to just stick these in the truck. This AWD EV C10 is going to SEMA after all. So we’re fabricating some custom S2S branded brackets, some seamless closeout panels, and a wicked plasma cut badge to top it all off! -------------------------------------------
