To use this tool, go to your My Videos page and select ’Find / Replace / Append’ under the Bulk Menu. Choose what action you want to perform. For each action you can see an example at the bottom of how it works. Select ’Find’ to simply search for some text across your videos Select ’Find and Replace’ to find text and replace it with different text (for example if you need to update a link to a website or social profile) Select ’Append After’ or ’Prepend Before’ to find text and either append a line of text before it or after it (for example if you want to add a new social profile in the description of all your videos) Select ’Remove’ to find and remove text from your videos which can also remove the line-break after the text leaving your description cleanly formatted. Choose if you’d like to perform your selected action on Titles, Descriptions or both then click Continue. Next, choose what type of videos you’d like the perform the actions on. You can choose all your videos, specific videos, a certain playlist or videos that match a search term. The next screen will show you all the videos where a match was found. At the bottom of the list are videos where a match was not found. For each video, TubeBuddy indicates if a match was found in the title, description or both. You can click the Preview icon on any video to see exactly what changes will be made that that video. Simply go back and forth between the before and after options to see the difference. Choose which specific videos you want to run the action on or click ’Select All’, then click Continue. Confirm your actions and click Start. TubeBuddy will go through each video that you selected and perform the desired action. Once the process is complete you can easy click through the updated videos to see the final results.
