Yellow vest demonstrators march in the street of Paris

Police fired tear gas at ’yellow vest’ demonstrators in Paris today as protests against the French government’s tax policies resumed. Demonstrators from the grassroots movement turned out this weekend to resume their stand off with it being the seventh weekend of protests, momentum for the movement appears to be waning as only small groups took to the streets in Paris, Nantes, Lyon, Bordeaux and Toulouse.
