😱 Computer Science is DOOMED? 😱 If we look at the evolution of programming each new level led to FASTER development times. With AI that’s being taken to a whole new level. The Goal of CS (Computer Science) has always been that programs are Built, Maintained and Understood by Humans. But human SUCK at all of this. Humans suck at writing code. Humans suck at maintaining code bases. Humans have a hard time understanding how code works. Now, there are programmers who have done all of this for the past 80 years and continue to do so. But the evolution of programming languages hasn’t ELIMINATED the problem. While these improvements do make programming easier, these are NOT quantum leaps.
