So the gist of the story is that before the snap, Bucky & Yelena had a thing. Things were great, but sadly Yelena found out that she was just a job. Someone had hired Bucky to kill her. Fast forward to after the snap where we start with Bucky showing Yelena, that he’s there to make emends and that she was never a job for him.
