Land And Water Cars Aka Land A Water Cars (1930-1931)

Full title reads: “Coventry. Land and water cars - to ford deepest rivers without use of boat or raft, for displaying British goods all over Africa, successfully tried out.“ Coventry, West Midlands. Men fix on floatation bags onto the side of a Riley motorcar. Shots of the floats being inflated by pump worked from attachment to back wheel. The car now with its full complement of flotation bags drives down into the water. It appears to get stuck at the water’s edge. Once it is out in the water it starts to move - it doesn’t look too successful. FILM ID: A VIDEO FROM BRITISH PATHÉ. EXPLORE OUR ONLINE CHANNEL, BRITISH PATHÉ TV.
