It’s been a little while since I saw my old friend, Amtrak Northeast Regional 121. I captured it making its station stop at Wilmington, DE along the Northeast Corridor. It was led by Metroliner Cab Car No. 9635 and pushed by ACS-64 No. 657. At 11 cars, this train couldn’t even fit on the platform.
I made sure to catch it as it made its way through the curve at BRANDY Interlocking, en route to Washington Union Station. Also, S/O to the engineer for the friendly toot of the horn. I appreciate that, mainly because I did not, and will not EVER do the “horn“ motion with my arm. Just no.
Enjoy!
