Move the Flip Cups - Acrylic pour with beautiful gradient and great cells

In this project we combine beautiful color gradients with great cells. Watch this casting video and you’ll see how easy this effect is. The flip cup technique is one of the most popular acrylic casting techniques. Just fill in one by one your pouring cup with the colors of your choice and place the cup upside down on your canvas. So that no color goes out, put the canvas on the cup and then turn both over. I have two cups, I’ll use a spatula to turn them over. When lifting the cup, the paint runs over the canvas and you can spread it by panning. But I do not just lift the cup with this technique, I move the pouring cups when pouring. This creates beautiful gradient patterns. Since I have made silicone oil in all colors, comes when drying the acrylic color cells. This can be accelerated by panning with a hot air gun or a flambé burner over the image. In order for the paint to flow a little better, I used a little more water for thinning.
