Item title reads - 5 Degrees below zero! And these hardy swimmers told our cameraman they enjoyed it. America. Various shots as people break the surface of the river, which is covered with ice, and shovel it away. M/S as they move big ice blocks, M/S of the swimmers shaking. Intertitle - ’“Come on in, the water’s 5 below zero!“’ They dive off the ice-covered side and start swimming. Intertitle - ’This will make you shiver more than the gentleman in the picture.’ A man in a swimming costume sits on the ice and pretends to eat a bit. Intertitle - ’105 foot plunge (Note: the rest of the title is obscured by the timecode) The swimmers dive off a big mountain into the river.
