Sierra cosworth V6 24V

Stuart Morris’s Sierra V6 Cosworth getting a thrashing on the dyno, the last dyno session showed the engine was running lean due to the standard injectors getting very close to the limit. Stuart fitted some larger injectors for this mapping session and as the power proved it cured the problem! We ran the engine many times on the dyno to over 7200rpm without a problem, sounds like it would rev forever! The car is fitted with a megasquirt ECU and Ford EDIS. The engine is standard and even has standard cast exhaust manifolds (very restrictive), this car has been built as a budget racer and races along side much more expensive machines on the track, but is very close to the pace. The supercharger conversion planed for next year will see this car making ALOT more power and torque and i sure Stuart will make good use of it on the track.
