Here is the debut release from new London-based DSBM solo-artist TogarE. The perfect thing to usher in a Friday evening, this album picks its way through tremulously chorus-saturated notes in its sparsely eerie intro until it is consumed by the eruption of nihilistic despondency, bursting over it like an oily cloud of grim anguish, reappearing at malefic intervals, with dour thunder. Seven tracks, each defined by a single isolated word of affect that signify the theme of each track, to be finessed and distressed by torturous vocals, wretched riffs and the melancholy sadness of weeping synths.
