Annotations to “The Final“: “It’s my left hand which I cannot put into characters“ - “Characters“ as in “letters“ or “writing“ in general. “The reason I’m alive...“ - Just like with DEG’s song title “wake“, “reason“ is spelled as “riyuu“ (理由), but Kyo pronounces it “wake“ (which would be 訳), and while the original meaning of that word is “reason“, it would still push the meaning of this line more towards “The fact that I’m alive...“. “What is lost“ - I love what Kyo did here. I tried to keep this one vague, since in the lyrics the thing that is lost is kept ambiguous through the usage of katakana for “mono“ (モノ) as well. It is kept open wether things (物, mono) or people
