Bittersweet

12/06/23: Bittersweet AKA “Fast 7/8 Riff“ (always creative with the project files) This song started as an attempt to write a song in the same vein as the band Vola as well as attempting to write verse vocals in the style of Steven Wilson. From there, it expanded into a mash of braindead riffs that focus more on a messy tone than the actual melody. I figured the chorus needed to be a bit more melodic since the rest of the song was a drag. Simple verse and complicated chorus is definitely the wrong way round but I like the way the structure is. hope you enjoy and see ye next week!
