The EU begun their first joint military exercises to boost their “role as a defense actor and a global security provider”, EU foreign policy chief, Josep Borrell said on Tuesday (October 17).
2800 men and women from Austria, Spain, France, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Malta, Portugal and from Romania are taking part in MILEX-23 exercises off the coast of Rota, Spain to train their rapid deployment capacity outside the European Union.
