Train over the Sea ! Rameswaram Express on Pamban Bridge

Train goes over the Sea , Pamaban Bridge at RAMESWARAM. Chennai-Egmore Rameswaram Express aka Boat Mail glides over the Mother of all bridges, The Pamban Bridge which connects the Main land to the Island of Rameswaram in India. The 2.3 KM long bridge built over the sea was opened for traffic in 1914 and use to run in Meter Gauge. The line was converted to Broad Gauge in 2007. The wind speed is pretty high and the trains are restricted to a speed of 15 KPH while crossing the Cantilever bridge. WATCH :
