She also was in the band Headpins after the departure of vocalist Darby Mills who was pushing for her own solo career and releasing Never Look Back. Due to the grunge movement and the death of her co-writer and labelmate Brian Macleod her career was cut short way too soon. This album I believe was going to be a Headpins release but after founder Brian Macleod’s death due to cancer label execs decided it should be released as Chrissy’s solo album Magnet To Steele.
