Bohemian Rhapsody... but it’s a trip to HELL! [Minor Key]

Re-imagined version in minor key with some dark and detailed orchestral arrangements. *LISTEN IN SPOTIFY!! *DOWNLOAD COVER SONG HERE!! *LISTEN TO MY NEW ORIGINAL ALBUM HERE!! BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY - “A Journey inside the Mind of Jacques Fesch” This version is a personal tribute to the band that has made perhaps the greatest influence in my musical taste and search, to Freddie Mercury & Queen, you are the greatest. The initial idea behind the musical arrangement was to change the harmony from mayor to its minor key along with its corresponding harmonic functions, while also proposing some other musical liberties such as melodic variations, pompous orchestrals and overall detailed sound design. The visuals are some oneiric and surrealist passages that vaguely allude to characters that belong to my Rock Opera “El Pez Que Voló” and also to the peculiar (and real) case of Jacques Fesch, a young French man who in 1954, after robbing a money changer, ended up shooting and killing a police officer while trying to escape. He was arrested and condemned to death on 6 April 1957. After a year in La Santé Prison (Paris), Fesch experienced an intense religious conversion towards the Catholic faith, he corresponded regularly with his family, and peacefully accepted his punishment. His final journal entry was “In five hours I will see Jesus!”. An appeal for clemency to President Rene Coty failed, and he was guillotined on October 1, 1957. This musical version and its video serve both as an homage to this figure and his story as well as a respectful reimagining of this anthem’s mood, passing from the original “festive” evocations to a darker internal war, all in an attempt to submerge into the unconscious mind of a man in atonement and penitence, a man whose soul is being fought over by angels of hope and demons of guilt, a man who is about to die. “Teezûck” = “Tizoc” = “He who makes Sacrifice” = “Jaques Fesch” = “A Flying Fish” CREDITS Original Song and Lyrics by: Freddie Mercury & Queen Adaptation, recording, instruments, orchestral arrangements, vocals, production, mix & video editing by: Râhoola Camera, Illumination & Photography Direction: Andrés R.
