After checking out the two waterfalls about 3 miles down the Hoh River Trail, in the Hoh Rain Forest, Olympic National Park, I was in a hurry to get back before dusk. As I was speeding along, this Roosevelt Elk Herd blocked the trail for a few seconds before I could pass! This will be burned in my memory for a long time! If you’re in this part of the country, you owe it to yourself to make it up to the Hoh Rain ’s magical!
