Probably filmed in Pathe studio, London. Singer Dennis Noble sings us a song about ’Limehouse’. The song, presumably about London docks starts with the line ’Black man, white man, brown man, yellow man. All the lousy Orient waiting on the quay.“ The song is overlaid with pictures of ships and boats in Limehouse docks in London’s East End. There are then shots of Asians, wearing turbans on the street corner, presumably immigrants. Shots of a Chinese man holding a child. Shots of some slums. Shots of Chinese shops (described in song as ’Chinatown’). The song is cut back to Dennis Noble standing there wearing his evening dress. Quick cutaway to show pianist. Song now talks about Belgravia and film shows shots of apartment blocks in this wealthy area of London. More shots of men in turbans in the East End. More shots of Limehouse docks.
