Truck hauled out of snow as extreme cold hits New York
A truck was hauled out of snow on 14 January as extreme cold hits New York, ending a nearly two-year “snow drought“.
The NYS Thruway Authority said: “In addition to plough operators, traffic safety, mechanics, emergency dispatchers and more, Thruway Authorized Tow Garages are on standby and working around the clock in the lake effect storm. A commercial ban remains on I-90 between exit 46 and the PA line and I-190.“
