French Village In Greece (1962)

This looks like a water skiing show watched from the boat rather then from the shore. In fact, this is welcoming show for the holiday makers coming to the island of Corfu, one of the most beautiful Greek islands, placed between Greece and Italy. As the boat with the new tourists approaches the island, audience sees the crowd on the quay dressed in sarongs with flowers around their necks, waving - typical South Pacific (Hawaiian) welcome. The funny thing is that the welcome is organised by the fellow tourists, not the Greek population of the island. Women are greeted with a kiss from men and men are greeted with a kiss from women - a good laugh. A short haired blonde girl does not kiss all the men but just the young attractive ones (it seems). A couple is seen walking through the tourist village holding hands. People sleep in
