Akin Akinözü, lead actor from “Hercai: Amor y venganza” (Hercai: Love and vengeance) meets with influencers virtually via Zoom to share about the upcoming U.S. debut of the internationally acclaimed hit Turkish series and his role as Miran. Set in the ancient town of Midyat, in the historic Mardin Province of Turkey, Hercai: Love and vengeance tells the story of Reyyan Sadoglu (Şahin) and Miran Aslanbey (Akinözü), an impossible love driven by revenge and betrayal. The plot unfolds as Miran carries out his vengeance plan to honor his parents’ death, an act instilled by his grandmother who made him believe his parents died at the hands of Reyyan’s father. Meanwhile, Reyyan’s desire to escape the yoke of her grandfather, pushes her into Miran’s arms.
